Canfor plans to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050

B.C.-based forestry giant Canfor has committed to becoming a net-zero carbon emissions company by 2050, announcing yesterday its “Path to Net Zero Carbon.” The company said in a news release it has developed near term science-based targets that include reducing the carbon emissions from pulp and wood products operations by 42 per cent by 2030…
